Note to self. Remember, remember: you already own all the tuning forks you need. When you lose our way, your voice and your purpose, you need to reconnect with the people who are singing the song of your deepest self. They can sing you right again.
We all know them when we find them: teachers, artists, writers, poets, role models. People who make us feel wide awake, thrumming with a bigger-than-us-sound that we know reflects something vital about who are and who we want to be. These people hold the power to re-tune us. Just by listening to them or reading them, we can start to remember ourselves.
I believe we should all have a bank of tuning-fork-teachers we can turn to when we need to find a way back.

I’m going to dig out the books on my shelf that are highlighted in three different colours from multiple passes; the books that excited me and sent me spinning off into a galloping passion towards something, something, anything.
Firework teachers. New glasses teachers. Fall to your knees in thanks teachers.

Tell me yours?
Throughout the month of August, in order to help pull myself out of a downward spiral, I’m sharing a choice I’m making every other day. These choices aren’t trying to change or control anything. Each one is simply a fresh turn towards what I know will help my mind, body and the people around me.
Perhaps you’d like to try them too.
I am sharing this free series thanks to my paid subscribers who allow me to operate this newsletter with freedom and an open heart.
When I read your writings, you are a tuning fork for me!
